Agri-Fab 42 In Tow-Behind Lawn Sweeper with 12 Cu Ft Hopper Bag, Adjustable Brush Height and Easy Dump Rope

The Agri-Fab 42-Inch Tow-Behind Lawn Sweeper is designed to assist with seasonal lawn maintenance and routine yard cleanup. Built to hitch behind a lawn tractor or riding lawn mower, it helps clear grass clippings, fallen leaves, and small twigs across outdoor spaces without requiring manual raking.

This model features a 42-inch sweeping width that covers broad stretches of lawn in fewer passes. The brush system includes an adjustable height setting, allowing the brushes to reach up to 1/2 inch deep into grass to pull out stubborn debris. Everything collected deposits directly into a high-capacity 12 cubic foot hopper bag, helping minimize frequent stops to unload material during large jobs.

Convenience during operation is a key focus of the design. The sweeper comes equipped with an easy-to-use dumping rope, allowing you to empty the hopper bag directly from the driver seat of your riding mower without dismounting. Transport over lawn surfaces is supported by 11-inch by 2.5-inch semi-pneumatic wheels, which offer smooth movement while towing. The unit is constructed by Agri-Fab in Sullivan, Illinois using global materials and includes a 3-year limited warranty.

Keep in mind that this unit requires a tow vehicle such as a riding mower or tractor, making it impractical for small yards managed with standard push mowers. Storage is another consideration, as the 42-inch sweeping deck and 12 cubic foot hopper require sufficient shed or garage space. Additionally, the seller copy does not specify the exact frame weight, hitch style, or assembly time required out of the box.

Verdict: The Agri-Fab 42-Inch Lawn Sweeper is an ideal match for homeowners with medium to large lawns who already own a riding mower or tractor. Its high-capacity bag and seat-operated dumping rope provide an efficient solution for gathering leaves and grass clippings with minimal manual effort.
