Detailed Review
The Ariens ST28DLE Deluxe SHO 28 in. Two-Stage Electric Start Gas Snow Blower is a heavy-duty winter machine designed to clear deep snow from driveways, walkways, and paths. Powered by gas with an electric start system, it targets homeowners who need reliable snow removal without struggling with manual pull-starts during freezing weather.
With a 28-inch clearing width and a two-stage clearing design, this snow blower collects and throws snow in a two-step process to prevent clogging. The electric start capability provides smooth ignition on cold mornings, while gas power ensures sustained operation across large outdoor areas without relying on power cords or battery recharges.
Because this is a large two-stage gas snow blower, it requires dedicated garage or shed storage space and routine gas engine upkeep, such as checking oil and fuel levels. Additionally, the manufacturer listing does not specify engine displacement, intake height, tire size, headlight equipment, or chute control details, so buyers looking for exact dimensions or accessory specifications will need to verify them separately.
Verdict: The Ariens ST28DLE Deluxe SHO is a solid option for property owners who need a wide, gas-powered two-stage machine with electric starting convenience. It is ideal for clearing broad driveways during severe winter conditions where consistent power is essential.
