Detailed Review
The BRINBO Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner is designed for automated maintenance of in-ground swimming pools, taking over the labor-intensive work of sweeping floors and scrubbing walls. By eliminating tangled cords and manual pole handling, it gives pool owners a hands-off approach to regular maintenance. Powered by an onboard rechargeable battery that delivers up to 240 minutes of non-stop operation per full charge, it can complete full sweeps of large pools in a single run without needing mid-clean breaks.
System settings and cleaning schedules are managed directly from a smartphone using the dedicated app. Simple menus allow you to customize cleaning cycles to match how dirty the water is, trigger instant spot cleans before guest arrival, or set up automated weekly maintenance schedules. To navigate the pool efficiently, built-in route-sensing technology creates smart travel paths across the floor and walls, ensuring the robot avoids repeating over-cleaned areas while accessing hard-to-reach corners without requiring manual repositioning.
Beyond floor sweeping, the robot relies on strong suction to climb vertical pool walls and clean around the waterline. This wall-ascending capability removes oily residue, mineral stains, and scum buildup that normally requires tedious manual brushing. Collected debris passes into a 6-liter dual-layer filter basket engineered with a clog-resistant structure. The internal filtering setup captures both large fallen leaves and fine particles like sand and tiny waste, keeping debris contained until you empty the bin.
There are a few trade-offs to keep in mind. The listing specifies that this cleaner is intended for in-ground pools, meaning it is not designed for above-ground pool configurations. Relying on smart app controls means users must operate the unit via a mobile device, and the product data does not specify the exact battery recharge time, unit dimensions, or dry weight. Pool owners will also still need to clean out the filter basket after heavy debris events.
Verdict: The BRINBO Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner is a strong fit for in-ground pool owners who want extended battery life combined with automated wall scrubbing. Its 4-hour runtime, smart navigation, and app-controlled scheduling provide comprehensive cleaning for large pool surfaces.
