CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17250 2.5 Gallon 2.5 Peak HP Wet Dry Shop Vacuum

The CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17250 is a portable 2.5-gallon wet dry shop vacuum powered by a 2.5 peak horsepower motor. Designed for quick cleaning tasks around the house, garage, or vehicle, it offers a practical solution for managing small liquid spills and dry debris without lugging around a large full-sized unit.

Mobility and convenient storage are central to its design. A built-in carry handle paired with a lightweight frame allows you to move it easily between car interiors, trucks, and utility areas. The compact body features an integrated cord wrap to keep power cables tidy, while the included 1-1/4-inch by 5-foot friction fit hose, crevice tool, and utility nozzle help you reach tight areas between vehicle seats and furniture. Additionally, the unit converts into a blower to sweep loose debris off workbench surfaces and floors.

Because of its 2.5-gallon capacity, this vacuum is best suited for small jobs rather than large restoration work. It is explicitly not compatible with the CMXZVBE38662 car cleaning kit, so users looking for that specific set must use standard 1-1/4-inch accessories. Replacement dust collection requires CMXZVBE38737 genuine CRAFTSMAN filter bags.

Verdict: This compact shop vacuum is ideal for homeowners and vehicle owners who need a portable tool for quick dry messes and liquid spills. It is a solid choice if you prioritize easy storage and light weight over a larger tank size.
