Dirt Devil Multi-Surface Total Pet+ Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner

The Dirt Devil Multi-Surface Total Pet+ Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is a corded cleaning tool designed to handle debris across various floor types and elevated surfaces. Pet owners and busy households often struggle with pet hair, crumbs, and dust scattering across hard floors or staying trapped in high pile rugs. This upright vacuum addresses those common issues by combining Max Power Technology with versatile attachments tailored for whole home floor to ceiling cleaning.

For versatile floor care, the vacuum features a 4 level floor height adjustment that lets you transition between low pile carpets, high pile carpets, and hard floors. Dirt Devil integrates PowerPass technology into the brush system to deep clean surfaces in fewer passes while preventing dirt and dust from scattering across hard floors. To handle messes above floor level, the unit provides an 8-ft cleaning reach alongside an included pet tool kit specifically designed to eliminate pet hair, crumbs, and debris high and low.

Maintenance and disposal are kept simple thanks to the bagless dirt cup design. The vacuum features a large, easy-release dirt cup equipped with a one touch opening mechanism. When the canister fills up, you can release and empty the collected debris directly into the trash can without touching the dirt, making trips to the garbage quick and uncomplicated.

Some trade-offs come with this design. Because this is a corded vacuum cleaner, your movement is tethered to electrical outlets. Additionally, while the listing notes an 8-ft cleaning reach, it does not state the exact length of the main power cord, overall weight, or dirt cup capacity in gallons or liters. Shoppers who prefer cordless convenience might find managing a power cord less convenient during quick cleanups.

Verdict: The Dirt Devil Multi-Surface Total Pet+ Upright Vacuum Cleaner is a solid choice for pet owners who need a reliable corded upright to clear hair and debris from multiple floor types. Its height adjustment, anti-scattering technology, and dedicated pet tools offer practical utility across carpets, hard floors, and above-ground surfaces.

A great fit if you:

• Have a mix of hard floors, low pile carpets, and high pile rugs that require selectable floor height settings.
• Own pets and need dedicated pet tools to eliminate pet hair from furniture, floors, and elevated spots.
• Want an upright bagless vacuum with an easy, one touch dirt cup release for quick emptying.

Consider something else if you:

• Prefer a cordless battery powered vacuum cleaner for complete freedom from power outlets.
• Require detailed specifications on vacuum weight or power cord length prior to purchasing.
