EGO POWER+ Pole Saw for Tree Trimming, Cordless Electric Pole Saw with Telescopic LED Cut Line Indicator, Battery and Charger Not Included - PS1000

The EGO Power+ PS1000 pole saw is a cordless electric tree trimmer designed for pruning branches without using a ladder. Built around a telescopic carbon fiber shaft, it offers an overhead reach of up to 13 feet, helping homeowners cut high limbs from the ground safely.

Cutting performance is powered by a high-efficiency brushless motor that drives the 10-inch bar and chain at speeds up to 20 m/s. The chain features a 1/4-inch pitch and 0.043-inch gauge for smooth trimming. For working in dense canopies or shaded environments, an LED cut line indicator highlights the cutting path. Adjustments during use are managed through a tool-free chain tensioning system, alongside a quick-adjust handle and built-in shoulder strap hook.

As a bare tool configuration, the PS1000 does not include a battery or charger. It runs on any EGO 56V ARC Lithium battery, delivering up to 100 cuts per charge when paired with the recommended 2.5Ah battery pack. While the standard shaft reaches up to 13 feet, reaching the maximum 17-foot range requires purchasing the separate EP1000 extension pole.

Verdict: The EGO Power+ PS1000 is a practical pole saw for homeowners who already own EGO 56V ARC Lithium batteries. Its telescopic carbon fiber shaft, LED cut line illumination, and tool-free adjustments make it a convenient solution for routine tree trimming.
