GORILLA GRIP® Extra Thick Foam Kneeling Pad for Gardening, 17.5x11 Black

The GORILLA GRIP Extra Thick Foam Kneeling Pad offers a targeted solution for reducing body aches caused by kneeling on hard, uneven surfaces. Designed for home gardeners, plumbers, painters, parents, and fitness enthusiasts, this pad provides immediate relief whenever work or exercise brings you down to floor level. Measuring 17.5 by 11 inches, it creates a generous personal workspace that keeps your body separated from cold, rough ground during daily chores or outdoor activities.

The defining feature of this pad is its 1.3-inch thick high-density foam construction. This ultra durable foam delivers 70 percent shock absorbency, absorbing impact and easing joint pressure the moment you apply weight. Unlike basic cushions that flatten out quickly, this high-density foam is built to resist breakdown and compression over time. It retains its protective shape through repeated use, ensuring you experience consistent cushioning and comfort year after year.

For outdoor and heavy duty applications, the pad is built to withstand harsh environments including rocks, rubble, and moisture. Its dirt and water resistant surface absorbs minimal water when placed on damp lawns or muddy soil, helping keep your knees dry while working outdoors. Stability is another strong point, as both the topside and bottom feature a soft, textured finish. This textured design prevents your knees from sliding on top of the pad and stops the pad itself from slipping on smooth tile, hardwood, or slick concrete.

As for trade-offs, the fixed dimensions of 17.5 by 11 inches mean you will need to manually move the pad along with you when working across wider garden beds or larger rooms. Additionally, the manufacturer information does not specify if the pad includes a built in handle for carrying or hanging storage, nor does it list alternative color choices beyond black.

Verdict: The GORILLA GRIP Kneeling Pad is an outstanding accessory for anyone looking to eliminate discomfort during floor-level tasks. Its combination of thick shock-absorbing foam, water-resistant durability, and non-slip texturing makes it a smart choice for gardening, baby bath time, plumbing, painting, exercise, and camping.
