HydroTech 100 ft Expandable Burst-Proof Garden Hose, 5/8 in Diameter

The HydroTech 100 ft Expandable Garden Hose gives home gardeners a lightweight, full-length watering solution that shrinks down for simple storage after use. With a 5/8-inch diameter, it suits anyone who wants to reach distant garden beds without hauling a heavy traditional hose across the yard.

At its center is a thick reinforced latex core designed to resist tears and wear around high-stress connection points. HydroTech pairs this with an internal force control system built to regulate water pressure and help prevent bursting. A solid brass shut-off valve provides a tight seal at the spigot while letting you adjust water flow directly from the end of the hose, and the built-in strain relief guard supports the connectors to improve bend radius.

Because this is an expandable design, reaching the full 100-foot length relies on active water pressure from your outdoor spigot. Additionally, the listing does not specify if a spray nozzle is included or detail maximum pressure ratings, so you may need to supply your own watering attachment.

Verdict: The HydroTech 100 ft Expandable Hose is a solid choice for homeowners looking for a lightweight, long-reach hose with brass fittings and built-in strain relief. Its expandable design makes outdoor watering and storage straightforward without taking up extra space.

Does this hose come with a shut-off valve?
Yes, it features a heavy-duty solid brass shut-off valve. This valve ensures secure connections at the spigot and provides smooth water control directly at the end of the hose during outdoor use.

What prevents this expandable hose from bursting or leaking?
The hose uses a force control system designed to prevent bursting under water pressure. It also features a thick reinforced latex core that resists tears and wear near the connection points, along with a strain relief guard that supports the connectors to improve bend radius.

How long is the hose and how easily does it store?
The hose measures 100 feet in length with a 5/8-inch diameter when fully expanded. Because of its expandable lightweight design, it contracts into a compact size after use, making it simple to carry and store anywhere around your yard or home.
