Kenmore Intuition Bagged Upright Vacuum Lift-Up Carpet Cleaner

The Kenmore Intuition Bagged Upright Vacuum combines traditional bagged cleaning with a lift-up canister design for versatile home care. Weighing 14 pounds, this unit is built for homeowners and pet owners who need consistent suction across both carpeted floors and hard surfaces while keeping dust sealed away during maintenance.

At the heart of the machine is a dual-motor power system engineered to maintain steady suction across all floor types. The main body features swivel steering, nozzle height adjustments, and integrated LED headlights to help illuminate dim floor areas and navigate around furniture legs. When transitioning above the floor, pressing a single button lifts the canister away from the nozzle, providing a 200-watt handheld vacuum capable of reaching stair steps, curtain lines, and elevated corners.

Dust containment relies on a completely sealed HEPA filtration system designed to trap 99.97 percent of dirt inside the unit. The vacuum uses No Touch Bag Technology paired with a PowerFlow bag chamber, which helps sustain suction performance even as the collection bag fills. Disposing of collected debris requires pressing a single button to release the self-sealing bag, avoiding direct contact with dust or manual cup scraping. Specialized attachments, including a 3-in-1 combination tool and a Pet HandiMate tool, attach directly for targeted pet hair removal on furniture and upholstery.

While the sealed bag design keeps dust out of the living space, it does require maintaining a supply of replacement bags over time rather than emptying a reusable cup. At 14 pounds, it is manageable for general upright pushing, though users moving the full unit between multiple floor levels should account for its total assembled weight. Additionally, the provided details do not specify the power cord length or the exact dust bag capacity.

Verdict: The Kenmore Intuition is a strong fit for pet owners and allergy-conscious households looking for clean dust disposal and versatile stair cleaning. Its dual-motor suction and lift-away handheld mode make it a dependable option for multi-surface homes.
