MAXTRA Pole Saw Gas Powdered, Reach to 16 Foot Extendable Tree Trimmer Powerful 42.7CC 2-Cycle Gas Chainsaw Cordless Tree Pruning Saw with Portable Bag

The MAXTRA Gas Pole Saw is designed for property owners, gardeners, and orchard caretakers who need to trim high tree branches without balancing on ladders. Powered by a 42.7cc 2-stroke engine that delivers 1100W of cutting output, this cordless outdoor power tool handles demanding tasks like limb pruning, wood cutting, and light logging. Operating on gas means you can work anywhere on your property without dragging electrical cords or waiting for batteries to recharge.

Reach and cutting capability are the primary strengths of this pole saw. The main shaft adjusts from 8.2 to 11.4 feet with its included extension pole, giving operators up to a 16 foot overhead working range while staying firmly grounded. Up top, a 10 inch cutting blade easily cuts through branches and logs up to 10 inches thick. Starting the 42.7cc motor is streamlined by a 2-position choke suited for both hot and cold starts, paired with a centrifugal clutch that reduces starting resistance.

Because gas trimmers generate noticeable movement during operation, MAXTRA includes a dedicated shoulder strap designed to distribute tool weight and reduce vibration and arm fatigue during longer working sessions. The engine is safeguarded by an integrated air filter to prevent dust and wood debris from entering the motor during heavy usage. The saw also comes with a portable storage bag for easier transport between cutting sites.

There are a few trade-offs inherent to this tool style. Because it features a 2-stroke gas engine, you must mix gas and oil fuel prior to operation, and routine engine care like cleaning the air filter is required. The manufacturer listing does not state the exact total weight of the fully assembled unit, nor does it mention the specific fuel tank capacity or gas to oil fuel ratio. Additionally, handling an extended 11.4 foot pole overhead requires reasonable physical upper body control.

Verdict: The MAXTRA Gas Pole Saw is a practical pick for homeowners and orchard owners who require long reach and high cutting power for tree maintenance. If you are comfortable maintaining a 2-stroke engine, its 16 foot reach and 10 inch blade capacity provide an efficient, cord free solution for overhead pruning.
