Detailed Review
The NARWAL Flow 2 Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo handles daily floor cleaning by combining heavy vacuuming power with continuous mop washing. Standard robot mops often drag dirty water across floors, but this unit continuously cleans its track mop with fresh water while scrubbing. It is designed for households with pets, children, and mixed hard surfaces and carpets that require frequent upkeep without constant user intervention.
Cleaning performance relies on 31,000Pa suction to lift dust, crumbs, and embedded hair from hard floors and rugs. For homes with shedding pets or long hair, the SGS-certified Dual Zero-Tangle System pairs short rollers with long-bristle side brushes to prevent hair wrapping around the mechanism. When mopping, the FlowWash system applies 140°F hot water and 12N of downward pressure to loosen stubborn dirt, while an internal scraper funnels dirty liquid into a dedicated sealed tank.
Navigation is handled by dual cameras and a VLM AI system that recognizes common household items such as shoes, power cables, and pet bowls to avoid getting stuck. When the robot transitions onto rugs, CarpetFocus sensors instantly lower the roller brush cover to concentrate suction while raising the mop 10mm to keep carpets dry. After cleaning, the included dock automatically washes the mop in hot water, dries it with warm air, and holds collected dust for up to 120 days.
While the feature set reduces daily maintenance, the large dock station requires dedicated floor space to accommodate its self-cleaning and dust storage functions. Additionally, the listing notes adaptive noise reduction near cribs and interactive pet sound features in the app, though specific room noise levels and exact app setup procedures are not detailed in the provided specifications.
Verdict: The NARWAL Flow 2 is an excellent choice for pet owners and busy households seeking high-suction vacuuming and fresh-water mopping. Its automated mop washing, anti-tangle brushes, and long-term dust storage make floor care nearly hands-off.
