Pocket Hose Ballistic 100 FT Expandable Garden Hose, No-Kink, As Seen on TV

The Pocket Hose Ballistic 100 FT Expandable Garden Hose offers a lightweight, flexible solution for homeowners looking to water lawns and gardens without dragging heavy standard rubber hoses. It expands up to three times its resting length when filled with water, then retracts down to a compact size for quick, bone-dry storage when you turn off the spigot.

Durability in expandable hoses usually comes down to core and outer layer strength. This model features a three-layer high-strength latex core surrounded by an anti-burst sleeve. That sleeve is reinforced with a Liquid Crystal Polymer strand, a material used in bulletproof applications that provides five times the strength-to-weight ratio of steel. Combined with solid lead-free connectors infused with real copper, thicker leak-resistant washers, and stronger APT connector protectors, it holds up against routine dragging across lawns and patios.

Handling is kept simple thanks to several user-focused design features. A 360-degree Pocket Pivot swivel connector attaches directly to your outdoor faucet, allowing the hose to move freely without snagging or kinking at the tap. The entire body is lightweight and wrapped in a UV-resistant coating, which helps defend the material against sun exposure during outdoor storage and use.

While the hose is designed for easy maneuverability, there are a few practical considerations to keep in mind. The product details do not list specific working water pressure limits or temperature thresholds. Additionally, a spray nozzle or shut-off valve attachment is not mentioned as included, so you will need to supply your own watering accessories.

Verdict: This hose is an excellent option for gardeners and homeowners who want a long, kink-free watering hose that is easy to move and store. Its reinforced polymer weave and lead-free copper fittings make it a durable pick for regular yard maintenance.
