Rain Bird 32ETI DIY Install In-Ground Automatic Sprinkler Kit

The Rain Bird 32ETI In-Ground Automatic Sprinkler Kit provides a permanent watering system for homeowners tired of manually positioning garden hoses. Designed to attach straight to an outside hose faucet, it offers an automated way to keep grass hydrated throughout the entire season without regular manual adjustments.

Setting up the system is built as a DIY project finished in one afternoon. Once underground, the sprinklers sit flush with the grass and retract automatically when not in use. This retractable design leaves the yard looking clean while allowing lawnmowers to pass right over the sprinkler heads without obstruction.

Performance depends on your home water setup, as the system relies on standard residential pressure between 45 and 75 psi to cover medium-sized lawns from 1,000 to 3,000 square feet. Buyers with lower water pressure or larger properties might find coverage insufficient, and the product listing does not state specific tubing lengths or component piece counts included in the box.

Verdict: This sprinkler kit is a practical choice for homeowners with medium lawns who want to automate their watering without hiring professional installers. If your water pressure falls in the required 45 to 75 psi range, it provides convenient season-long care straight from your outdoor faucet.

A great fit if you:

• Own a medium lawn between 1,000 and 3,000 square feet and want season-long automatic watering.
• Want to eliminate the routine chore of moving hoses and adjusting manual sprinklers.
• Prefer a quick DIY underground setup that you can install yourself in an afternoon using an outside faucet.

Consider something else if you:

• Have a yard smaller than 1,000 square feet or larger than 3,000 square feet.
• Have home water pressure outside the required 45 to 75 psi range.

How does the sprinkler kit attach to a water source and how long is installation?
The system connects directly to an outside faucet without requiring complicated home plumbing work. The kit is designed for a DIY installation that can be completed in a single afternoon.

Will the sprinkler heads cause obstacles when mowing the grass?
No, the sprinklers automatically retract into the ground when watering finishes. This gives your yard a clean, uncluttered look and allows you to mow your lawn easily over the sprinkler heads.

What lawn coverage and water pressure specifications are required?
This sprinkler system covers medium lawn areas from 1,000 to 3,000 square feet. It operates effectively with average residential water pressure and flow between 45 and 75 psi.
