RYOBI 18V ONE+ 22cm Edger (Battery & Charger Excluded)

The RYOBI 18V ONE+ 22cm Edger (model RY18EGA-0) is a dedicated lawn tool designed to maintain clean, crisp borders around paths, driveways, and garden beds. Built for home gardeners who already own RYOBI 18V ONE+ batteries, it provides a straightforward way to trim grass edges without messy cords.

Cutting performance centers around a 22cm serrated edging blade that slices through grass and turf along lawn boundaries. To ensure accurate depth control across different lawn types, the tool features a 4-step height adjustment mechanism that allows you to set the blade height to match your specific yard layout.

Handling is kept smooth and consistent using 2 auxiliary guide wheels. These wheels keep the blade aligned directly along your edging line, making it easier to follow straight runs or subtle curves. An integrated debris guard sits above the blade area to keep loose dirt, grass, and lawn debris directed away from you while the tool is operating.

The main trade-off is that this item comes as a bare tool, so you will need to supply your own compatible RYOBI 18V ONE+ battery and charger. Additionally, depth control is restricted to the 4 fixed settings rather than a continuous adjustment dial. Verdict: If you already use RYOBI 18V ONE+ tools and need to tidy up your lawn borders, the RY18EGA-0 delivers practical alignment and depth control in a bare tool format.
