RYOBI 42 in. 100 Ah Battery Electric Riding Zero Turn Mower RY48ZTR100

The RYOBI RY48ZTR100 is a battery electric riding zero-turn mower engineered for homeowners maintaining large residential yards. Powered by a 100 Ah battery setup, it offers a gas-free mowing solution for expansive lawns.

Four high-powered brushless motors drive the machine, powering a durable 42-inch steel deck equipped with two precision-cut steel blades. On a single full charge, this setup cuts up to 2.5 acres of grass. Aggressive zero-turn technology enables quick pivoting around trees, garden beds, and fences to reduce overall mowing time.

For custom lawn height, a 12-position manual deck adjustment lets you set your desired cut. The mower also includes a slow speed function for controlled steering near obstacles and integrated LED headlights for early morning or dusk operation. Downsides include manual deck height lever adjustment, and the manufacturer listing does not mention the full battery recharge time.

Verdict: The RYOBI RY48ZTR100 is a strong option for homeowners with up to 2.5 acres who want zero-turn maneuverability without handling gas. It delivers broad cut coverage, precise speed options, and bright night lighting for large property maintenance.
