Detailed Review
The Seesii 40V Cordless 18-Inch Chainsaw provides heavy-duty wood cutting capability without the hassle of fuel mixing, pull cords, or engine exhaust emissions. Powered by a dual battery setup, it is built for homeowners and land managers who need to fell thick trees, clear storm debris, or process large timber around their property.
At the heart of the saw is a 2200W brushless motor capable of driving the chain at 30 feet per second. Coupled with an 18-inch guide bar, this setup offers deeper cutting depth than smaller 14-inch or 16-inch saws, letting you cut larger timber in fewer passes. The 40V system utilizes two included 5000mAh batteries and two fast chargers, delivering up to 200 cuts on four-inch softwood logs on a single charge.
Daily operation is designed for convenience and operator safety. An automatic oiling system with an 80 ml reservoir continuously lubricates the bar to minimize heat and metal friction. When the chain loses tension during heavy use, the side-mounted tool-less tensioning knob lets you make adjustments quickly without carrying extra wrenches into the woods. Despite its large bar and dual battery configuration, the saw weighs just 8.6 pounds with both batteries installed to help limit arm and back fatigue. For protection, it features a rapid emergency brake, an enlarged hand guard, and a dual-action safety switch, backed up by the included protective gear.
There are a couple of trade-offs to keep in mind. Initial assembly is required out of the box to install the bar and chain and achieve proper tension, though a user manual is provided to guide the setup. Additionally, while the 80 ml oil reservoir provides continuous lubrication, its modest capacity requires periodic monitoring during long clearing sessions.
Verdict: This cordless chainsaw kit is an excellent match for property owners needing wide 18-inch cutting capacity and complete battery convenience. With two batteries, two chargers, spare chain, and safety gear included in one package, it delivers a capable cutting setup without the ongoing maintenance of gas tools.
