Shark Cyclone PET Handheld Vacuum, Navy Blue/Grey, CH701

The Shark Cyclone PET Handheld Vacuum CH701 is a compact, cordless cleaner built for quick spot cleans and everyday household messes. Designed primarily for pet owners and busy households, it addresses the common hassle of dragging out a heavy upright vacuum just to clear stray fur, crumbs, or litter. Its lightweight design and portable shape suit anyone looking for a swift way to maintain clean upholstery, carpeted stairs, mattresses, and car interiors.

Driven by HyperVelocity suction, this handheld unit delivers deep-cleaning power across multiple surfaces. The vacuum comes equipped with two distinct attachments to tailor your cleaning task. An 8-inch Crevice Tool reaches into tight corners, between couch cushions, and along narrow baseboards. Meanwhile, the Multi-Surface Pet Tool is engineered specifically to pull stubborn pet hair from fabric furniture, car seats, and rugs, acting as a versatile upholstery cleaner.

Power management and upkeep are designed for simplicity. The vacuum runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and charges via a convenient USB cable, eliminating the need for bulky cords or searching for dedicated wall outlets while cleaning on the go. The extra-large bagless dust cup holds a generous amount of dirt and debris, allowing for longer cleaning sessions with fewer stops. When it is time to empty the canister, a simple one-touch button dumps the contents directly into the trash without dirtying your hands. Routine maintenance is equally painless because the removable filter can be washed with water and reused, maintaining consistent suction strength over time without requiring costly replacement filters.

To keep expectations realistic, shoppers should note a few operational limitations based on the provided details. The manufacturer does not state the exact battery runtime on a single charge or the total time required to fully recharge via USB, so it is best suited for quick spot jobs rather than continuous whole-house cleaning. Additionally, the specifications do not mention whether a wall-mount bracket or dedicated charging dock is included, meaning storage will likely take place on a shelf or counter.

Verdict: The Shark Cyclone PET CH701 is an effective, highly portable tool for tackling localized pet hair and daily messes on furniture, stairs, and inside vehicles. If you want a lightweight cordless vacuum with hassle-free filter maintenance and simple USB charging, this model is a solid choice for quick pickups.
