Shark Navigator Lift-Away Vacuum Cleaner for Home, HEPA, Blue Jean, LA301

The Shark Navigator Lift-Away LA301 is a corded upright vacuum cleaner built for full home cleaning across carpets and hard floors. It combines traditional upright suction with a portable canister design to solve the hassle of reaching elevated surfaces, stairs, and tight corners. Homes with pets or residents sensitive to airborne dust will find this model tailored for thorough daily maintenance.

At the core of the vacuum is its Lift-Away feature, which lets you step on an easy-release pedal to detach the main pod from the floor nozzle. This transforms the unit into a lightweight portable vacuum that you can carry to handle stairs, furniture, and overhead spaces. For steering around chair legs and obstacles, advanced swivel steering provides tight control, while the ergonomic handle features built-in suction controls so you can adjust airflow on the fly when transitioning between delicate fabrics and dense rugs.

Filtration and debris management are handled through a fully sealed system. The anti-allergen seal paired with a HEPA filter captures over 99.99% of dust and allergens down to 0.3 microns inside the vacuum, keeping particles trapped rather than releasing them back into your room. Dirt collects in a bagless dust cup designed for straightforward emptying, reducing the hassle of routine cleanups. The included Pet Multi-Tool targets stubborn pet hair stuck to upholstery and stairs, while the Crevice Tool extends reach into narrow edges and corners.

While the upright design delivers consistent power, it relies on a standard power cord, meaning your range is tethered to available wall outlets. Additionally, the manufacturer does not specify exact measurements for dust cup volume or cord length in the listed details, so buyers looking for specific capacity metrics will need to rely on standard full home expectations.

Verdict: The Shark Navigator Lift-Away LA301 is a solid, versatile choice for homeowners and pet owners who want deep carpet cleaning paired with portable above-floor convenience. Its sealed HEPA filtration makes it particularly well suited for households focused on trapping fine dust and dander.

A great fit if you:

• Have pets and need specialized tools to pull fur off furniture and stairs.
• Want HEPA filtration to trap fine dust and allergens inside the vacuum.
• Need a versatile vacuum that converts easily for stairs and overhead cleaning.

Consider something else if you:

• Prefer a cordless design for unlimited movement without plugging into outlets.
• Require detailed technical specs like exact dust cup volume before purchasing.
