SOLO Inc 421 20-Pound Capacity Portable Chest-Mount Spreader with Comfortable Cross-Shoulder Strap - 421S, White, 20lb

The SOLO 421 is a portable chest-mount spreader designed for distributing grass seed, fertilizer, and ice melt across residential lawns, gardens, and commercial grounds. By mounting directly to your torso, it eliminates the need to push a wheeled spreader across bumpy ground, narrow strips, or garden beds.

It features a hopper that holds up to 20 pounds of material, allowing you to treat larger outdoor areas without stopping for constant refills. An adjustable cross-shoulder strap distributes weight across your chest to support comfortable hands-free operation. For targeted application, integrated controls include an adjustable flow rate and a direction fan that let you manage spread width and material placement. Built with chemical-resistant and weather-resistant materials, it handles standard lawn chemicals and winter ice melts across changing weather conditions.

Because this is a chest-mounted spreader, you must carry the full 20-pound load on your body, which may feel heavier during long spreading sessions compared to a wheeled push cart. Additionally, the listing does not state the unit's empty weight or overall physical dimensions.

Verdict: This portable spreader is ideal for homeowners and landscapers who need precise material distribution on uneven ground or tight spaces. Its 20-pound capacity and adjustable chest mounting make it a practical choice for year-round lawn care and winter ice control.
