Stanley - SL18116P Wet/Dry Vacuum, 6 Gallon, 4 Horsepower Black

The Stanley SL18116P Wet/Dry Vacuum is a utility cleaner designed for home, vehicle, garage, and jobsite maintenance. Powered by a 4 peak horsepower motor, it tackles liquid spills alongside solid dirt, sawdust, and household debris. Its 6 gallon tank capacity balances portable sizing with enough volume to complete everyday messy tasks without stopping constantly to empty the container.

In addition to standard suction, this unit functions as a 3 in 1 utility tool that includes a rear blower port to clear leaves and loose dirt from walkways or workspaces. The included accessory kit expands its utility across different surfaces, providing a floor nozzle for open areas, a crevice nozzle for tight gaps, and a gulper nozzle for larger liquid or dry pick-ups. Three extension wands combine with a 6 foot flexible hose and a 10 foot power cord to deliver over 16 feet of total operational reach, letting you clean across wider areas without moving to a new electrical outlet.

Mobility and storage are straightforward thanks to four swivel casters that allow the canister to roll smoothly across flat surfaces. Once cleanups are finished, the power cord wraps onto dedicated side holders, while the hose secures around the top carrying handle. The package comes equipped with a foam filter for liquid pick-up, a dust bag for dry material, and a reusable dry filter for standard vacuuming tasks.

While the vacuum covers essential workshop and vehicle needs, a few setup details require attention during use. You must switch between the included foam filter for wet extraction and the dry filter or dust bag for solid debris. Furthermore, while the 16 foot total reach works well in tight spaces, larger jobsites or long driveways may still require an external extension cord beyond the built in 10 foot power cable.

Verdict: The Stanley SL18116P is a practical choice for homeowners, DIYers, and vehicle owners who need a compact wet and dry cleaning solution. Its 4 peak HP motor and included attachment set make it well suited for garage, basement, and car maintenance. Anyone seeking a versatile vacuum with integrated blowing capability will find strong utility in this 6 gallon unit.
