BLACK+DECKER 40V MAX Hedge Trimmer, 22" Blade Length, Powerful Motor with Reduced Vibrations, Sharp Blades for 3/4" Thick Cuts, Battery and Charger Included (LHT2240C)

The BLACK+DECKER 40V MAX Cordless Hedge Trimmer (LHT2240C) helps property owners manage unruly bushes, hedges, and shrubs without tangled power cords. Built around a 22 inch dual action blade, this outdoor tool provides the reach needed to shape long hedge lines evenly.

Cutting performance relies on sharp blades capable of tackling branches up to 3/4 inch thick. The dual action design cuts down on vibration compared to single action blade models, making extended yard work less tiring on hands and arms. Maneuvering around awkward angles is simplified by the wraparound auxiliary handle, which gives balanced control when trimming vertically along sides or horizontally across top foliage. A full length trigger combined with a soft grip area keeps operation straightforward and comfortable.

Power comes from an included 40V MAX battery, which pairs with an included charger. An integrated state of charge indicator lets you view remaining battery power at a glance before starting a task. The main constraint to note is the 3/4 inch cutting capacity, meaning thicker limbs require separate pruning tools.

Verdict: This cordless trimmer is a practical choice for homeowners needing clean cuts on medium branches without cord hassle. Backed by a 3-year limited warranty, it offers dependable control for everyday yard upkeep.
