EGO Power+ 15" Cordless Weed Trimmer with Battery and Charger - ST1511T

The EGO Power+ ST1511T 15-inch string trimmer is designed for homeowners looking to clear yard growth, maintain lawn edges, and handle routine outdoor tasks using battery power. Powered by an included 56V ARC Lithium 2.5Ah battery, this cordless weed wacker combines a 15-inch cutting swath with adjustable ergonomics to make property care manageable and efficient.

The standout feature is Powerload technology, which automates line loading. Instead of manually winding line or taking the trimmer head apart, you feed the 0.095-inch cutting line into the head and press a button to wind it automatically in seconds. A telescopic aluminum shaft allows you to quickly alter the overall length of the trimmer so you can work comfortably regardless of your height.

Underneath the head, a high-efficiency brushless motor provides low vibration along with long-term reliability and tool lifespan. To match the output to your specific working situation, the trimmer features variable speed control with two distinct speed settings. The included 2.5Ah battery provides up to 45 minutes of runtime on a single charge and recharges fully in 50 minutes using the included EGO POWER+ CH2100 charger. Furthermore, the included battery and tool integrate seamlessly with all EGO 56V ARC Lithium power tools.

While the trimmer offers solid runtime for average property cleanups, property owners with larger yards may find the 45-minute limit requires pausing for a 50-minute recharge or purchasing an extra battery. Additionally, while the listing details the 15-inch swath and 0.095-inch line thickness, it does not specify the total line capacity held in the head at one time.

Verdict: The EGO Power+ ST1511T is a practical choice for homeowners who want quick push-button line winding and customizable shaft length for comfortable yard care. Its 50-minute recharge time and cross-tool 56V battery compatibility make it a convenient addition to any property care routine, supported by a 5-year tool warranty and 3-year battery warranty.
