EGO POWER+ Chain Saw, 16” Battery Powered Chainsaw, Electric Cordless, Includes 56V 2.5Ah Battery and Charger – CS1611

The EGO Power+ CS1611 is a cordless 16-inch electric chainsaw designed for general yard maintenance and clearing tasks around the property. Powered by an included 56V 2.5Ah ARC Lithium battery and charger, this tool delivers cutting performance comparable to a 40CC gas engine without requiring fuel mixing, pull cords, or gas emissions.

Featuring a 16-inch bar and chain running at 20 meters per second, the saw cuts efficiently through logs and branches. The included 56V 2.5Ah battery yields up to 130 cuts on a 4x4 post on a full charge. The chain itself uses a 3/8-inch pitch, .043-inch gauge format with 52 drive links.

Operational features focus on convenience and weather resistance. A tool-free chain tensioning system allows quick bar and chain adjustments without extra tools, while an automatic oiling system relies on a spill-free reservoir. The IPX4-rated weather-resistant housing helps guard against rain, and safety is supported by a low kickback chain design with a brake indicator.

While the 56V system provides gas-like output, continuous operation depends on the included 2.5Ah battery capacity, and the listing does not specify total unit weight or battery recharge duration. Verdict: The EGO Power+ CS1611 is a strong choice for homeowners who want 40CC-equivalent cutting capability for light to medium wood-cutting chores without dealing with gas engine upkeep.
