EGO POWER+ Electric Lawn Mower, Self-Propelled Cordless with 22" Aluminum Deck, Select Cut and Touch Drive, Includes 56V 10.0Ah Battery and Charger - LM2206SP

The EGO POWER+ LM2206SP is a battery-powered self-propelled lawn mower designed for homeowners who want high cutting power without handling gasoline or oil. Built around a spacious 22-inch cast aluminum deck and powered by a 56V 10.0Ah battery, this unit efficiently manages residential lawns while providing smooth, variable-speed self-propelled drive.

Cutting capability comes from an electric motor generating up to 11.1 ft-lbs of torque and blade speeds up to 3,350 RPM. This setup feeds EGO's Select Cut multi-blade system, which uses a fixed upper blade along with interchangeable lower blades. Depending on your yard needs, you can fit the high-lift bagging blade to maximize grass collection into the included rear bagger, or install the high-performance blade for fine grass chopping when using the included mulching insert or side-discharge chute.

Mowing comfort is supported by Touch Drive self-propelled controls. Drive action engages by resting your palm against the handlebar grips, while speed adjustments are made using a thumb scroll dial located on the handle. The included 56V 10.0Ah battery delivers up to 70 minutes of runtime per charge and recharges via the included 56V 700W charger. The deck itself is constructed from cast aluminum and comes backed by a lifetime warranty.

As for trade-offs, the heavy-duty cast aluminum deck and large 10.0Ah battery add structural weight compared to entry-level plastic deck models. Furthermore, properties that require more than 70 minutes of continuous mowing will need additional EGO 56V ARC Lithium batteries or a charging break to finish the job.

Verdict: The EGO POWER+ LM2206SP is a top-tier choice for property owners who prioritize heavy-duty build quality and long battery runtime. Its cast aluminum deck, versatile multi-blade options, and palm-controlled self-propel system make it a reliable solution for medium to large lawns.
