EGO POWER+ Hedge Trimmer Cordless, Electric Hedge Trimmer 24", Includes 56V 2.5Ah Battery and Charger - HT2411

The EGO Power+ HT2411 cordless hedge trimmer brings battery-powered convenience to outdoor yard maintenance. Designed for homeowners needing broad cutting reach without managing extension cords or mixing fuel, this trimmer pairs a high-efficiency brushless motor with a 24-inch cutting bar.

Equipped with 24-inch dual-action, hardened steel reciprocating blades, the trimmer cuts smoothly across long hedge faces. Power comes from an included 56V 2.5Ah battery and charger, which also fit any other tool in the EGO POWER plus system. For user control, an integrated electric brake stops the blade action quickly when needed, while the fully serviceable blades simplify long-term upkeep.

As a battery-powered unit, runtime depends entirely on the charge of the single included 2.5Ah pack, so larger properties may require downtime for recharging. Additionally, the manufacturer specifications do not state the maximum branch cutting diameter thickness, overall tool weight, or sound output levels, leaving those physical details unconfirmed prior to purchase.

Verdict: The EGO Power+ HT2411 is a practical choice for homeowners who want clean cord-free trimming with cross-compatible 56V battery power. Its long dual-action blades and quick electric brake offer solid control for routine hedge maintenance.
