EGO Power+ Z6 Zero Turn Electric Riding Lawn Mower, 42" Deck - ZT4214L

The EGO Power+ Z6 ZT4214L electric zero turn riding lawn mower is designed for property owners who want gas-equivalent cutting performance without engine fumes or oil maintenance. Built around a 42-inch cutting deck, this machine handles lawns up to 1.5 acres using battery power alone. It suits homeowners with medium-to-large yards who want a quiet, customizable cutting experience on an established battery platform.

Under the hood, Peak Power Technology combines up to six 56V ARC Lithium batteries to produce power equal to a 24-horsepower gas engine. The dual blade cutting system features 10 height adjustments ranging from 1.5 to 4.5 inches, along with selectable blade speeds between 2,300 and 3,200 RPM. This combination allows you to match cutting force and grass height to your specific yard conditions.

For driving control, the mower offers three distinct operational modes, Control, Standard, and Sport, with top travel speeds reaching 8 MPH. A wide frame design provides stability on sloped terrain, while a deck suspension system helps maintain a quiet operation. Users can check speed, blade velocity, and battery runtime on the built-in color digital screen or through the connected EGO app. Additionally, the included 6.0Ah batteries work across all tools in the EGO 56V platform.

While the feature set is broad, there are practical details to note. To secure the full 5-year battery warranty, registration must be completed within 90 days of purchase. The 5-year mower warranty also caps out at 300 hours of use if reached first. Furthermore, the provided listing facts do not specify exact battery recharge times or overall machine weight.

Verdict: The EGO Power+ Z6 is ideal for homeowners managing up to 1.5 acres who want a powerful riding mower without relying on gas. Its adjustable blade speeds, digital controls, and cross-tool battery compatibility make it a practical choice for property maintenance.
