Husqvarna Special Edition Z242F (42") 21.5HP Kawasaki Zero Turn Mower

The Husqvarna Special Edition Z242F is a residential zero-turn mower designed for homeowners who need efficient cutting and precise maneuvering around lawn obstacles. Built around a 21.5HP Kawasaki V-Twin engine, it delivers reliable power to tackle medium-to-large lawn properties without slowing down.

At the center of its cutting setup is a 42-inch fabricated welded mower deck featuring two blades. This heavy-duty deck construction offers robust physical durability, while the Hydro-Gear EZT transmission delivers smooth control for navigating corners, flower beds, and narrow yard pathways. Additionally, the 3.5-gallon fuel capacity allows you to finish extensive mowing passes without frequent topping off.

While the 42-inch deck size offers great control in tight spaces, it may require more passes on vast acreage compared to wider cutting decks. The listing also does not detail optional accessories like bagging kits or specific height-of-cut adjustment counts, so buyers looking for specialized attachments should confirm compatibility beforehand.

Verdict: The Husqvarna Z242F offers a strong combination of commercial-style deck build quality and dependable twin-cylinder power. It is ideal for property owners who want a durable, easy-to-maneuver zero-turn mower backed by a 3-year consumer warranty.
