EGO Power+ Z6 Zero Turn Electric Riding Lawn Mower, 52" Deck - ZT5216L

The EGO Power+ Z6 ZT5216L is a 52-inch zero turn electric riding lawn mower designed for property owners who manage large yards up to three acres. Powered entirely by lithium batteries, it eliminates routine gas engine maintenance, oil changes, and exhaust fumes while delivering the speed and cutting width needed for substantial turf acreage.

The mower operates using up to six 56V ARC Lithium batteries simultaneously, delivering energy output equivalent to a 27-horsepower gas engine. With six 10.0Ah batteries included, it cuts up to 3.0 acres on a single charge and reaches driving speeds up to 8 MPH. Drive settings can be adjusted across three distinct modes: Control mode for tight maneuvers, Standard mode for daily mowing, and Sport mode for higher travel speeds. The triple blade deck system allows fine-tuning with blade speeds ranging from 2,500 to 3,600 RPM and 10 deck height settings between 1.5 and 4.5 inches.

Real-time stats are clearly visible on a built-in color digital display screen showing current drive mode, blade speed, ground speed, and battery charge status. You can also pair the mower with the EGO Connect smartphone app to monitor battery levels and charging times remotely. Frame design features a wide footprint for balance on sloping ground, paired with a deck suspension system that reduces noise during operation. Crucially, the included 56V batteries are fully compatible with the rest of the 56V lawn and garden tool lineup.

There are a few key ownership details to keep in mind. Total runtime per charge depends on your chosen driving mode, slope steepness, and blade speed. Furthermore, obtaining the full 5-year battery warranty requires registering the batteries online within 90 days of purchase, and the mower warranty caps out at 5 years or 300 operational hours.

Verdict: The EGO Power+ Z6 ZT5216L is a strong investment for property owners maintaining up to three acres who want gas-equivalent power without emissions or routine engine tune-ups. It is especially suitable for buyers who appreciate customizable cutting settings and plan to share batteries across a broader cordless outdoor tool ecosystem.
