eufy E28 Robot Vacuum and Mop, 20,000 Pa, Portable Carpet Cleaning

The eufy E28 Robot Vacuum and Mop addresses a major limitation of traditional automated cleaners by combining an autonomous floor robot with a built-in detachable portable deep cleaner. Rather than needing a dedicated second spot-cleaning appliance, you can lift the portable cleaner off the base station to address unexpected messes, pet stains, and spills on upholstery, stairs, carpets, and car seats.

Daily floor care relies on 20,000 Pa of suction paired with automatic carpet detection. As the robot transitions from hard floors to carpets, it automatically adjusts suction power to pull out dust, pet hair, and ground-in debris. Corner cleaning is improved with the CornerRover extending arm, which reaches outward along walls and straight into corners where debris normally accumulates. The DuoSpiral anti-tangle brushes help prevent long hair and animal fur from wrapping around the rollers, minimizing manual maintenance.

Routine upkeep is largely hands-off thanks to the multi-functional all-in-one station. The dock manages self-emptying for dust, self-washing for the roller mops, automatic water refilling, detergent dispensing, and hot air drying to prevent lingering odors on the mop components. Smart features are equally comprehensive, allowing control through the eufy mobile app or voice commands via Alexa, Hey Google, and Matter integration.

A few technical requirements should be considered prior to installation. The unit operates strictly on 110V power and connects only to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks, meaning 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks are not supported. Furthermore, while the automated dock covers daily dust bin and mop maintenance, spot cleaning with the detachable deep cleaner still requires manual operation when tackling furniture, stairs, or vehicle interiors.

Verdict: The eufy E28 is a well-rounded floor care system for pet owners and busy households seeking combined automated vacuuming, mopping, and spot cleaning. Its high suction power, self-maintaining dock, and detachable stain cleaner make it a versatile single-machine solution for whole-house care.
