Greenworks 40V 16in Push Lawn Mower, 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger

Greenworks 40V 16-inch push lawn mower provides a cordless cutting solution for small to medium residential yards. It comes equipped with a 4.0Ah battery and charger, allowing you to maintain your grass without needing gas cans or extension cords.

The deck is designed to be 35 percent lighter than traditional steel deck mowers, which makes guiding the mower around garden beds and trees straightforward. Cutting height adjustments are handled by a single lever with five distinct positions. You can also choose how to handle clippings, thanks to a 2-in-1 system supporting both mulching and rear bagging.

There are a few operational trade-offs to keep in mind based on the mower specs. Coverage is listed at up to one-third of an acre per charge, but actual runtime fluctuates depending on grass conditions and operator technique. The 16-inch cutting path requires more passes than a larger mower deck, and the push design means forward movement relies on manual effort.

Verdict: This lightweight push mower is a practical fit for suburban properties and small yards up to one-third of an acre. Its included 3-year limited tool and battery warranty, combined with cross-compatibility across 75+ Greenworks 40V tools, makes it a reliable entry point into a cordless outdoor power system.
