Greenworks 40V Electric Leaf Blower, 550 CFM, 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger

The Greenworks 40V Electric Leaf Blower brings high-volume airflow and cordless convenience to everyday yard maintenance. Built around a 40V brushless motor, it produces up to 550 CFM of air volume and 130 MPH wind speeds to sweep away lawn debris, wet leaves, gravel, and light snow from patios and driveways. It serves homeowners who want fast cleaning without the hassle of gas blowers or restrictive power cords.

Handling wet or heavy debris is straightforward thanks to the dual-control throttle setup. The variable-speed trigger allows precise management of air output for lighter tasks, while an on-demand Turbo button provides instant peak force when tackling stubborn mud, standing puddles, or outdoor spills on garage floors and decks. This combination clears debris faster than gas models and helps eliminate double-pass sweeping across tough outdoor surfaces.

Comfort and noise control are central to the design. Operating at 78 dB, the blower runs library-quiet compared to traditional equipment, making early morning cleanups easier on neighbors and pets. Its ultralight construction and integrated cruise control allow for up to 20 minutes of continuous single-handed operation, which helps reduce arm strain when clearing sloped areas or navigating around delicate flower beds.

The system includes a 4.0 Ah battery and charger that powers the blower for up to 20 minutes of continuous use. The primary limitation to consider is this 20-minute continuous runtime per charge, which may require taking breaks or swapping batteries when working across expansive properties. However, because the battery belongs to an expandable ecosystem, it can be shared with over 75 other Greenworks 40V yard tools, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws.

Verdict: This Greenworks model is an ideal pick for homeowners who want lightweight, low-noise power for driveways, decks, and garden spaces. Its strong 550 CFM airflow, cruise control, and multi-tool battery compatibility make routine yard cleanups quick and manageable.
