Greenworks 40V Leaf Blower / Vacuum, 340 CFM, 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger

The Greenworks 40V Leaf Blower and Vacuum combines clearing and mulching functions into a single cordless outdoor tool. Designed for general yard maintenance, it helps homeowners move dry leaves, clear wet leaves, pick up grass clippings, and vacuum debris without maintaining separate machines or dragging power cords around the yard.

The central feature is its tool-free conversion, which lets you switch from a 185 MPH blower to a high-efficiency vacuum and mulcher in seconds. It runs on a brushless motor engineered for quieter operation, twice the torque, and three times the motor lifespan of traditional models. To match airflow to the task, a 6-speed dial gives you precision control around delicate landscaping, while a Turbo Mode button unlocks the maximum 340 CFM airflow speed for heavy-duty cleanup work.

Cordless operation is powered by the included 40V 4.0Ah battery and charger system. This battery setup yields up to 21 minutes of continuous runtime per charge. Coverage is supported by a 3-year hassle-free warranty that requires no registration, keeping maintenance straightforward over long-term ownership.

Some trade-offs come with this design. The 21-minute continuous runtime is tailored for focused cleaning tasks, so owners of expansive properties may need to pause for recharges or keep a spare battery handy. Frequent use of Turbo Mode will also drain the battery faster than lower speed settings. Furthermore, the listing does not specify the weight of the unit or the exact volume capacity of the vacuum bag.

Verdict: The Greenworks 40V Leaf Blower and Vacuum is an ideal pick for suburban homeowners who want a versatile, cord-free tool to handle lawn debris, wet leaves, and yard cleanup. Its tool-free dual functionality and adjustable power settings make seasonal yard care fast and easy to manage.
