Greenworks 60V 17in Push Lawn Mower, 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger

The Greenworks 60V 17-Inch Push Lawn Mower delivers a cordless yard care solution powered by an included 4.0 Ah battery and matching charger. Designed with a lightweight and rust-resistant 17-inch deck, this lawn mower eliminates the hassle of mixing gas, pulling starter cords, or managing tangled extension cords. It suits small to medium yard owners looking for a manageable cutting machine that maneuvers easily around tight garden spaces and tricky landscapes.

At the core of the tool is a high-efficiency brushless motor that maintains steady cutting performance across demanding yard conditions. Energy is supplied by a 60V 4.0 Ah battery that offers up to 40 minutes of continuous runtime on a complete charge. Once empty, the battery recharges in 90 minutes. A major practical benefit is battery cross-compatibility: the same 60V pack powers more than 75 other Greenworks outdoor tools, including string trimmers, leaf blowers, and chainsaws.

Adapting the mower to seasonal lawn needs is straightforward. A single height adjustment mechanism provides 6 positions ranging from 1.5 inches up to 3.15 inches. The mower also features a 2-in-1 system that lets you alternate between mulching fine clippings back into your grass or collecting debris with the rear bagging attachment. Combined with its lightweight frame, the rust-resistant deck makes navigating tight corners, fenced edges, and uneven terrain smooth and simple.

It is important to consider a few design trade-offs before buying. The compact 17-inch cutting deck requires more total passes to mow larger properties compared to wider industrial decks. Additionally, the 40-minute maximum runtime per battery charge means owners of larger lawns may need to plan for a recharge break or invest in an additional 60V battery. Since this is a push model rather than a self-propelled unit, pushing uphill depends entirely on physical effort.

Verdict: The Greenworks 60V 17-Inch Push Lawn Mower is an excellent match for homeowners with small to mid-sized lawns who want clean, hassle-free cutting. Supported by a 4-year limited tool and battery warranty, it offers standard height adjustment, dual clipping options, and cross-compatibility with a wide range of outdoor power equipment.
