Greenworks 82V 8 in Cordless Electric Lawn Edger, 4.0 Ah Battery, Charger

The Greenworks 82V 8-Inch Cordless Lawn Edger is designed to give lawn edges a clean, precise finish along driveways, sidewalks, and flower beds. Powered by a high-voltage battery system, this tool suits property owners and commercial users who need heavy-duty cutting without gas fumes or extension cords.

At its core is a direct drive brushless motor that delivers up to 1.5 kW of power, driving an 8-inch heat-treated blade. It reaches a maximum cutting depth of 2.2 inches for defined turf borders. The included 4Ah battery provides enough runtime to edge up to 3 miles on a single charge, while the dual-port charger prepares batteries for the next job.

While the dual-port charger accepts two batteries, the kit includes only one 4Ah battery, so spare batteries must be bought separately if you want to charge two at once. In addition, the listing does not specify total machine weight or shaft length, which may matter for long work sessions.

Verdict: This high-power cordless edger is ideal for landowners and landscapers needing maximum cutting depth and long coverage area per charge. Backed by a 4-year warranty on both the tool and battery, it offers a dependable option for extensive yard maintenance.
