Kenmore Featherlite Bagless Upright Vacuum with Hair Eliminator Brushroll

The Kenmore Featherlite Bagless Upright Vacuum is a full-sized cleaning system designed for homeowners who want strong floor coverage without constantly stopping to empty the dust bin or untangle hair from the brushroll. Weighing under 14 pounds, it balances the capacity of a traditional upright vacuum with flexible setup options for stairs, upholstery, and hard-to-reach overhead spots. It offers a practical solution for households managing daily pet hair and varied floor layouts.

Routine maintenance is simplified through the built-in Hair Eliminator brushroll, which automatically removes wrapped pet hair and long fibers as you clean. This eliminates the need to manually cut wrapped hair away with scissors. For air quality control, the vacuum uses a completely sealed air path paired with a HEPA filter. This setup traps 99.97% of dust and particles down to 0.3 microns inside the unit, preventing fine debris from escaping back into the living space.

Maneuvering around the home is straightforward due to swivel steering, which helps guide the vacuum base around chair legs and tight corners. Built-in LED headlights illuminate dark areas underneath beds and cabinets so no hidden debris is missed. The dust cup features an extra-large capacity that holds three times more than standard cups, allowing you to cover larger areas with fewer interruptions for emptying.

For above-floor cleaning tasks, Lift-Up technology quickly transforms the main vacuum into a lightweight portable pod. The included attachment set, featuring the Pet HandiMate tool, dedicated upholstery tool, and 3-in-1 combination tool, pairs with an extended reach capability of up to 7 feet. This makes it easy to dust ceiling fans, vacuum stair treads, and clean soft furnishings without lifting the entire upright base.

While the vacuum weighs under 14 pounds, it is still a full-sized upright that takes up standard storage space. Furthermore, the 7-foot above-floor reach places a fixed limit on high-up cleaning without moving the base closer. Verdict: The Kenmore Featherlite is ideal for pet owners and multi-surface homes needing high dust capacity and low brushroll maintenance. Its sealed HEPA filtration and convertible pod make whole-home cleaning convenient and thorough.
