Detailed Review
The Kenmore Intuition Bagged Upright Vacuum is built for homeowners who want thorough floor cleaning and allergen containment without handling messy dust cups. Weighing under 15 pounds, it pairs the cleaning force of a full-size upright with a detachable pod system for cleaning stairs and overhead spots.
A two-motor system handles ground-in dirt across carpets, rugs, and hard floors. For day-to-day maneuvering, swivel steering and integrated LED headlights guide the floorhead around furniture and into dim corners. When you need to clean furniture or elevated areas, the main body detaches into a lightweight pod, working alongside the included upholstery tool, dusting brush, and crevice tool.
Dust containment is a key focus of this model. The completely sealed air path and HEPA filtration trap 99.97% of dust and debris inside the vacuum. Disposing of full bags is hands-free, using a single button press to release self-sealing bags into the trash without releasing dust back into your living area. An integrated bag fill indicator lets you know when it is time for a change, while specialized chamber airflow maintains strong suction as the bag fills.
Because this model uses disposable bags, you will need to keep replacement HEPA bags on hand once the four included bags are used up. Additionally, while the detachable pod adds portability for overhead tasks, the overall setup remains a full-size upright that requires dedicated closet space.
Verdict: The Kenmore Intuition is a practical choice for households looking for effective allergen trapping and mess-free bag disposal. Its combination of multi-floor cleaning, versatile tools, and lift-up pod makes it a versatile option for everyday home care.
