RYOBI 40-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Attachment Capable String Trimmer, 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger Inc

The RYOBI 40-Volt Cordless String Trimmer offers flexible yard maintenance without gas cans or restrictive extension cords. Powered by an included 4.0 Ah high-capacity battery, this cordless unit provides homeowners with a clean, straightforward way to trim grass and handle overgrown borders.

This model features an adjustable cutting path from 13 to 15 inches, allowing you to prioritize maximum coverage or conserve battery energy. Its variable speed trigger gives you direct control over trimming power when working near delicate garden beds. For tool versatility, the power head connects to RYOBI Expand-It attachments along with standard universal gas attachments, helping save equipment space. Line reloading is managed by a Reel-easy bump-feed head made for quick line replacement.

While the kit includes a battery and charger, restoring a depleted 4.0 Ah pack takes 90 minutes. Additionally, the product specifications omit details regarding overall tool weight, line thickness, or expected battery runtime per charge, so managing larger properties may require extra planning.

Verdict: This trimmer is a solid choice for homeowners seeking standard trimming features combined with attachment versatility. It fits buyers looking to start a 40-volt lawn care system without buying separate tools for every outdoor task.
