Scotts 304-14S 14-Inch 5-Blade Push Reel Lawn Mower, Green

The Scotts 304-14S is a lightweight push reel lawn mower designed for simple lawn maintenance without needing gas or oil. It provides a clean, manual cutting option for homeowners looking to trim their grass without managing fuel or electrical power cords.

This model features a 14-inch cutting width and a 5-blade ball bearing reel crafted from heat-treated alloy steel. These steel blades are made to stay sharp longer, delivering a consistent cut. Smooth pushing across your yard is aided by 8.5-inch composite wheels, while the T-style handle includes a cushioned grip for comfortable hand placement. Assembly is quick and requires no tools. In addition, you can adjust the cutting height from 0.5 inches to 1.75 inches for flexible lawn trimming.

Because this is a manual reel mower with a 14-inch width, it takes more passes to cover larger areas compared to wider power mowers. The maximum cutting height is 1.75 inches, which limits use if you prefer longer grass. It also relies entirely on physical effort rather than a motor.

Verdict: This push reel mower is a solid choice for buyers who want an easy, tool-free setup and zero-fuel lawn care. It is best suited for those comfortable with manual pushing and maintaining shorter grass heights up to 1.75 inches.
