Shark Cordless Vertex Pro Lightweight Cordless Stick Vacuum, Red, IZ662H

The Shark Cordless Vertex Pro IZ662H is a versatile stick vacuum designed for homeowners who want full-size cleaning performance without the hassle of a power cord. It combines a lightweight frame with a convertible design, making it suitable for quick daily pick-ups as well as thorough whole-home cleaning across hard floors and carpets.

At the heart of the cleaning system is the DuoClean PowerFins system paired with a self-cleaning brushroll. A soft front roller pulls in fine particles and larger debris, while flexible PowerFins maintain continuous contact with floors to lift stubborn dirt. The integrated self-cleaning mechanism continuously clears hair from the roll as you clean, making it particularly effective for homes with shedding pets or long hair. Built-in LED headlights on the floor nozzle illuminate dust tucked under cabinets and along baseboards.

Usability features make daily operation straightforward. The MultiFlex wand bends at an angle to slide under low tables and couches without requiring you to bend over, and it allows the vacuum to fold forward for freestanding vertical storage. An onboard IQ Display provides real-time readouts on remaining battery runtime and current performance settings. When you need to clean furniture, stairs, or tight corners, the stick detaches to transform into a lightweight hand vac. Maintenance is mess-free thanks to the CleanTouch Dirt Ejector, which empties the removable dust cup at the push of a button, alongside an Anti-Allergen Complete Seal with HEPA filtration that traps dust and dander inside.

There are a few trade-offs to keep in mind before buying. The advertised 60-minute runtime is measured specifically when using the unit as a hand vacuum in ECO mode, so run time will be shorter when operating the full stick assembly or engaging Boost Mode for maximum suction. Additionally, while cleaning power in Boost Mode is tested against full-size upright models like the ZU630, the listing does not specify the exact total weight or dust cup capacity.

Verdict: The Shark Cordless Vertex Pro IZ662H is an ideal choice for households seeking strong suction, active hair-tangle prevention, and versatile storage options in a single unit. It is particularly well suited for pet owners and allergy sufferers who need reliable filtration and easy above-floor cleaning without being tied to an outlet.

A great fit if you:

• Have pets or long hair and need a self-cleaning brushroll that stops hair wrap.
• Want a vacuum that folds down for compact, freestanding storage without wall mounting.
• Suffer from allergies and require sealed HEPA filtration to trap dust and dander.
• Need a versatile unit that easily converts into a handheld vacuum for furniture and stairs.

Consider something else if you:

• Need continuous maximum suction power over long periods without recharges.
• Prefer an entry-level stick vacuum for basic, low-cost maintenance.

How long does the battery last on a single charge?
The removable battery provides up to 60 minutes of runtime when measured at the hand vacuum in ECO mode. Operating the full stick assembly or using Boost Mode will reduce total runtime.

How does the self-cleaning brushroll work?
The self-cleaning brushroll continuously clears hair wrap from the roller while cleaning, preventing long hair and pet hair from tightly wrapping around the brush.

How does the MultiFlex wand help during storage and cleaning?
The MultiFlex wand bends to reach under low furniture without requiring you to bend down. It also allows the unit to fold over for self-standing, compact storage.

Does this vacuum trap allergens inside the unit?
Yes, it features an Anti-Allergen Complete Seal paired with HEPA filtration to capture and trap dust, dander, and allergens so they stay out of the air you breathe.
