Shark Stratos Cordless Vacuum, Clean Sense IQ & Odor Neutralize, IZ862H

The Shark Stratos Cordless Vacuum (model IZ862H) is designed to handle household dust, debris, and pet hair across both carpets and hard floors without tying you to a wall outlet. Built for homes with mixed flooring and pets, it tackles everyday messes while managing airborne dust and lingering odors during your routine cleaning.

At the center of its cleaning system is Clean Sense IQ technology, which uses an infrared sensor to spot invisible dirt and automatically ramp up suction power. An on-handle visual indicator alerts you when your floor is clean, while the LED display lets you monitor remaining battery life and adjust suction modes manually. The DuoClean PowerFins HairPro system uses two brushrolls working together to engage hard surfaces and dig into carpet fibers, paired with a self-cleaning brushroll engineered to prevent hair wrap.

For hard to reach areas, the MultiFLEX wand bends at an angle to slide beneath furniture without forcing you to bend over. When cleaning is finished, the wand folds forward so the unit stands upright on its own for compact storage. Built-in Odor Neutralizer Technology helps prevent collected debris from emitting unpleasant smells, while an Anti-Allergen Complete Seal paired with HEPA filtration traps over 99.9% of dust and allergens down to 0.3 microns inside the vacuum.

While the removable battery offers convenience, note that the maximum 60-minute runtime applies only when operating in ECO mode at the hand vacuum level, meaning full-stick cleaning on higher power modes will yield less time. Additionally, the included accessory set is lightweight, consisting strictly of a crevice tool and an anti-allergen brush.

Verdict: This cordless vacuum is a strong choice for pet owners and households with mixed flooring who need automated power adjustment and anti-tangle brushrolls. Its flexible wand and sealed HEPA filtration make it ideal for thorough, comfortable cleaning under low furniture and around sensitive spaces.
