Shark Vertex Pro Cordless Stick Vaccum, Black/Silver, IZ682H

The Shark Vertex Pro IZ682H cordless stick vacuum is designed for homes that need whole-house cleaning capability without being tethered to a power outlet. It combines the cleaning performance of a traditional full-size upright vacuum with the flexibility of a lightweight cordless unit. If you want deep floor cleaning, overhead dusting, and straightforward pet hair pickup across multiple surfaces, this stick vacuum covers all those needs in a single unit.

At the core of the Vertex Pro is its dual-battery setup and DuoClean PowerFins system. Having two removable batteries allows you to swap in a fresh pack for consecutive cleaning sessions, yielding up to 120 minutes of total runtime when measured at the hand vacuum level in ECO mode. On floors, the DuoClean PowerFins brushroll maintains continuous contact with hard surfaces and carpets to pull in particles while actively clearing itself to eliminate hair wrap, making it especially effective for pet owners.

Everyday operation is streamlined thanks to integrated smart features and flexible geometry. The handle features an IQ Display that provides live feedback on remaining runtime and active performance modes. For hard-to-reach areas, the MultiFlex wand bends on demand to slide under couches and beds without requiring you to bend down. When you finish cleaning, the wand folds over to allow freestanding storage. It also features built-in LED headlights to light up hidden debris, a single-touch CleanTouch Dirt Ejector on the XL dust cup, complete HEPA allergen sealing, and converts into a hand vac paired with the included crevice, dusting, and pet tools.

While the vacuum offers strong overall versatility, there are a few practical trade-offs to keep in mind. The advertised 120-minute runtime applies specifically when using both batteries back-to-back in ECO mode at the hand vacuum level; running the vacuum in Boost mode or using attached motorized floor nozzles will reduce battery life faster. Additionally, managing two removable batteries requires keeping track of charging routines to maintain full readiness for whole-home cleans.

Verdict: The Shark Vertex Pro IZ682H is a strong choice for homeowners and pet owners who want full-size cleaning capability without a restrictive cord. Its dual batteries, self-cleaning brushroll, and complete allergen sealing make it well suited for multi-surface houses requiring extended cleaning sessions and low-maintenance hair pickup.
