Dyson V15 Detect Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, Yellow/Nickel

The Dyson V15 Detect Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is designed for whole home deep cleaning across multiple surface types. Built with intelligent sensors and versatile attachments, it suits households needing thorough dust and pet hair removal on hard floors, carpets, and upholstery without being tethered to a power outlet.

The vacuum features two main cleaning heads for different floor types. The Fluffy Optic head reveals invisible dust on hard surfaces so you can see where to focus, while the Digital Motorbar cleaner head deep cleans carpets and hard floors while automatically de-tangling long hair and pet hair. For smaller surfaces like pet beds, car seats, and stairs, the anti-tangle conical Hair screw tool lifts hair quickly without wrapping around the brush bar.

Intelligent power management allows the vacuum to adjust suction automatically based on detected debris and floor type. An integrated LCD screen shows real time particle counts, power mode selection, maintenance alerts, and remaining run time accurate to the second. Powered by an energy-efficient trigger mechanism, it offers up to 60 minutes of run time and uses advanced whole-machine filtration to trap 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. It also converts easily into a handheld unit and comes with five Dyson-engineered accessories.

Because the unit uses a power trigger, you must hold the switch down while cleaning, which helps extend battery life but requires continuous manual engagement. Accessing full maintenance support and personalized machine guides also requires registering the device on the MyDyson app. Additionally, the premium feature set comes at a higher investment price than basic stick vacuums.

Verdict: The Dyson V15 Detect is ideal for pet owners and larger homes seeking high suction and intelligent dust detection. If you want real-time feedback on cleanliness and automated hair de-tangling across every floor surface, this cordless model is a top-tier choice.
