Wild Badger Power Gen2 26cc Gas String Trimmer, 17-in 3-in-1 Combo

The Wild Badger Power Gen2 26cc Gas String Trimmer Combo gives homeowners a single powerhead capable of handling multiple lawn maintenance tasks across medium-size residential yards. Instead of swapping between separate standalone tools, this multi-function system converts between a 17-inch string trimmer, a lawn edger, and a 10-inch brush cutter. It is built for buyers who manage ditches, driveways, fence lines, and seasonal overgrowth where continuous gas power is preferred over battery runtimes or cord lengths.

At the center of the tool is a 26cc 2-cycle full-crank gas engine that provides consistent cutting force for tall grass, stubborn weeds, and light brush. The Gen2 update equips the straight drive shaft with an aluminum alloy build for dependable control, paired with wear-resistant PA trimmer line. To extend work sessions, the package includes an additional set of trimmer line right out of the box, reducing downtime when line wears down during larger projects.

User comfort and maintenance are thoughtful parts of the design. The included shoulder strap helps distribute the weight during extended yard work, while the long straight shaft allows easier reach under shrubs and along fence perimeters. Keeping the tool running smoothly is straightforward thanks to a tool-free air-filter cover for quick filter access. Furthermore, the split shaft accepts compatible Wild Badger Power attachments if you decide to expand your tool system later.

As with any gas-powered multi-tool, there are clear practical boundaries to keep in mind. The 2-cycle engine relies on standard gas fuel maintenance rather than push-button battery convenience. Additionally, while the 10-inch brush cutter handles heavy weeds and light brush, the manufacturer explicitly notes that this trimmer is not intended for thick woody branches or saplings.

Verdict: The Wild Badger Power Gen2 26cc Trimmer is a practical, adaptable option for homeowners taking care of medium property lines, ditches, and overgrown borders. Its combination of three tool heads, included shoulder strap, and attachment capability makes it a versatile pick for regular gas-powered lawn care. It comes backed by a 3-year limited warranty and 24-hour customer support.
