Akitas C11 Bagged Canister Vacuum Cleaner, Light Weight HEPA Filtration, 33ft Cleaning Radius with Retractable Cord, Ideal for Hard Floors & Low-Pile Carpet Extra Floor Brush

The Akitas C11 is a compact bagged canister vacuum cleaner designed for homes with hard floors and low-pile carpeting. Weighing under 12 lbs, it gives homeowners and apartment dwellers a lightweight option for moving between rooms and up and down staircases without lugging heavy equipment.

Cleaning performance comes from a 1200W motor featuring four adjustable suction levels, allowing you to dial down power for delicate cleaning or dial it up for stubborn debris. The universal floorhead includes a foot switch for switching between hard floors and low-pile carpets without bending down. For delicate surfaces, an extra floor brush is included, while specialized crevice and upholstery attachments store neatly under the main body cover.

Reach and maneuverability are strong suits for this model. A 23 ft retractable cord combines with an adjustable telescopic wand to deliver a 33 ft cleaning radius, which means fewer stops to change outlets in larger rooms. The canister body relies on a swivel design and ergonomic handle to navigate around furniture legs, while an H13 HEPA filter traps dust and debris inside the vacuum to protect the motor and maintain clean air exhaust.

As a bagged canister model, there are a few practical trade-offs to keep in mind. You will need to keep replacement dust bags on hand for ongoing maintenance, though the extra-large bag size reduces how often you change them and keeps disposal mess-free. Additionally, the nozzle setup is intended specifically for hard floors and low-pile carpets, so it may not suit homes with thick or high-pile rugs. The manufacturer also does not state the exact bag capacity in liters or the decibel rating for operating noise.

Verdict: The Akitas C11 is a solid, straightforward choice for anyone seeking a lightweight bagged canister vacuum with strong filtration. It works best for small to mid-sized homes dominated by hard flooring and low-pile rugs where long reach and clean bag disposal matter most.
