BLACK+DECKER Electric Hedge Trimmer, 17-Inch Corded 3.2 Amp, Dual Action, Reduced Vibration, Cleaner Cut, Lightweight, 3800 Cuts per Min (BEHT150)

The BLACK+DECKER BEHT150 is a compact, corded electric hedge trimmer built for straightforward yard upkeep around home hedges and bushes. Powered by a 3.2 amp motor, it delivers continuous power without the need to mix gas, handle exhaust fumes, or wait on battery chargers. Its lightweight structure makes it suitable for homeowners who need a manageable tool for routine trimming.

At the heart of the trimmer is a 17-inch dual-action blade made from hardened steel. Operating at 3,800 cuts per minute, the dual-action mechanism lowers vibration during use, helping you maintain smooth cutting strokes. It handles branches up to 5/8 inch thick, allowing you to cut through standard foliage and light overgrown stems cleanly.

For control and maneuverability, the trimmer features an integrated T-handle alongside a full-length trigger. This layout provides a steady grip when shaping bushes at different angles. To keep work uninterrupted, a built-in cord retention system keeps your power cord firmly anchored so it will not slip loose while moving around your yard.

As a corded tool, its working distance depends entirely on your power cord and outlet access, making it less portable across large spaces. Additionally, branches thicker than 5/8 inch exceed its rated cutting capacity. The trimmer comes backed by a 2-year limited warranty.

Verdict: The BLACK+DECKER BEHT150 is a reliable, easy-handling choice for homeowners looking for hassle-free bush maintenance near an outdoor power source. If you want lightweight control and unlimited runtime without managing gas or batteries, this corded trimmer is a practical fit.
