CRAFTSMAN Hedge Trimmer, 17-inch, Corded (CMEHT150)

The CRAFTSMAN CMEHT150 Corded Hedge Trimmer provides home yard care enthusiasts with an accessible tool for trimming bushes and shaping garden hedges. Designed for suburban yard upkeep, this lightweight unit helps home gardeners clean up overgrown foliage without unnecessary strain.

At the heart of the trimmer is a set of 17-inch dual action blades capable of cutting branches up to 5/8 inches thick. The dual action design works alongside a broad T-handle, giving operators consistent control and comfortable positioning when trimming vertically or horizontally across hedge tops.

Certain design limitations are worth noting. Being a corded tool, its range depends on access to a power source and a suitable outdoor cord. Cutting capacity is capped at 5/8 inches, so thick branches will require dedicated pruners. Additionally, while the trimmer features an integrated hook for the VERSATRACK Wall Organization System, the wall tracking system itself must be purchased separately.

Verdict: The CRAFTSMAN CMEHT150 corded hedge trimmer is a practical choice for homeowners needing an easy to manage trimmer for standard garden hedges. Its compact frame and simple storage integration make it ideal for light to medium yard maintenance tasks.

• Blade Length: 17 inches
