CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Pole Saw, 14-Foot, Battery and Charger Included, Pole Saws for Tree Trimming, Up to 325 Cuts per Charge, 4.0Ah, Electric Tree Trimmer (CMCCSP20M1)

The CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Pole Saw (CMCCSP20M1) is designed for homeowners who need to trim elevated tree branches without climbing ladders. Powered by an included V20 4.0Ah battery pack, this electric tree trimmer delivers the portability of cordless operation for yard maintenance tasks.

With an extension pole providing up to a 14-foot reach, the tool lets you target high limbs while keeping both feet on the ground. An 8-inch bar combined with an angled head and blade design helps you align precise cuts against awkward branches. To keep workflow moving smoothly, an integrated branch hook lets you quickly pull down cut branches that remain caught in the canopy, while the soft grip handle improves maneuverability.

While the cordless design provides mobility, the 8-inch bar length means this saw is built for light to medium branch trimming rather than heavy logging. When replacement components are eventually needed, you must source specific part numbers (Cmzcsc8 for the chain and Cmzcsb8 for the bar). Additionally, total cutting time depends on the 4.0Ah battery capacity, which provides up to 325 cuts per full charge.

Verdict: This pole saw is a practical choice for property owners who want a straightforward, battery-powered tool for seasonal tree pruning. Its 14-foot reach, angled cutting head, and included V20 battery make routine branch trimming safe and manageable.
