Detailed Review
The Greenworks 24V 14in Push Lawn Mower is a compact battery-powered mower designed for homeowners maintaining yards up to approximately one-quarter acre. Built around a 14-inch cutting deck, this push mower eliminates gasoline and power cords while keeping lawn maintenance manageable in smaller residential outdoor spaces.
At the heart of the mower is a brushless motor engineered to deliver strong torque and consistent cutting performance. Compared to traditional brushed motors, this design generates less noise, extends total motor life, and provides longer runtime during each mowing session. Power comes from an included 5.0Ah battery equipped with an integrated LED fuel gauge, allowing you to check remaining battery power at a glance.
Charging is handled by an included 65W Type-C fast charger supporting USB-C Power Delivery. This charger not only powers up the mower's 24V battery quickly but can also charge your other compatible USB-C devices. For lawn care flexibility, the mower features simple 2-in-1 functionality so you can choose between mulching clippings back onto the lawn or gathering them in the collection bag for easy cleanup.
Because it is designed for smaller spaces, the mower features a lightweight body that is easy to maneuver around landscaping features. When your work is done, the handle folds down to enable upright vertical storage, drastically reducing the footprint it takes up in your garage or shed. Additionally, the included 24V battery is cross-compatible with more than 200 tools in the Greenworks 24V system, including trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws.
While the 14-inch width and lightweight build make maneuvering effortless, homeowners with larger properties over a quarter acre may find the deck size requires more passes across the yard. This is also a manual push model rather than self-propelled, meaning forward movement relies entirely on user effort.
Verdict: This Greenworks 24V mower is a practical, space-conscious choice for small-to-medium yards up to a quarter acre. Its multi-use USB-C fast charger, quiet brushless motor, and upright storage make it a solid option for cordless lawn care, especially if you plan to expand your outdoor equipment within the Greenworks 24V battery lineup.
