Kenmore Featherlite Lift-Up Bagless Upright Vacuum

The Kenmore Featherlite Lift-Up Bagless Upright Vacuum is a full-sized upright cleaning system designed for homeowners who want complete floor-to-ceiling coverage without lugging heavy equipment. Weighing under 12 pounds, it combines the power needed for whole-home maintenance with a lightweight design that simplifies moving between rooms and up staircases.

Cleaning performance relies on a dual-motor power suction system built to handle both bare floors and carpets. Swivel steering makes it easy to maneuver around furniture legs, walls, and obstacles, while a front-facing LED headlight illuminates dust, hair, and debris hidden in dark spaces. For above-floor tasks, the lift-up technology allows you to detach the main canister quickly, transforming the upright unit into a lightweight pod.

To reach high or tight spots, the vacuum provides nine feet of hose reach and includes two dedicated accessories: an individual upholstery tool and a 3-in-1 combination tool featuring a crevice tool, a dusting brush, and an upholstery head. For household filtration, a completely sealed air path uses a HEPA filtration system that captures 99.97% of dust and particles down to 0.3 microns inside the machine. Maintenance is straightforward thanks to the bagless setup, which features an easy-to-empty dust cup that avoids the need for replacement bags.

There are a few limits to note based on the provided specifications. The nine-foot hose reach provides decent vertical space, but the manufacturer does not disclose the length of the main power cord, so outlet swapping frequency remains unknown. Additionally, the exact capacity of the bagless dust cup is not stated, meaning larger messes or shedding pets may require emptying the cup more frequently.

Verdict: The Kenmore Featherlite Lift-Up is a versatile choice for buyers who want an easy-to-maneuver, full-sized upright vacuum that converts into a portable stair and furniture cleaner. It is ideal for multi-floor homes and anyone looking for HEPA filtration in a lightweight, bagless format.
