Miele Blizzard CX1 Cat & Dog Bagless Canister for Deep Carpet Cleaning

The Miele Blizzard CX1 Cat & Dog is a bagless canister vacuum built for pet owners handling multiple flooring types. Designed to pick up stubborn pet hair and fine dust, it provides targeted cleaning power for homes with both carpets and hard floors.

Cleaning performance centers on Vortex technology, which captures coarse debris alongside fine dust. Users can adjust between four suction power settings to suit delicate fabrics, hard surfaces, or thick rugs. Air filtration relies on a maintenance-free HEPA Lifetime Filter paired with a Gore CleanStream Fine Dust Filter to trap particles inside the unit.

The package includes dedicated attachments, such as the SEB 228 Electro Plus floorhead for carpets, the SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister floorhead for hard floors, and a handheld turbo brush for upholstery pet hair. It also comes with a dusting brush, crevice tool, and upholstery tool. As a trade-off, this is a canister vacuum with multiple full-size attachments, so storing the unit and its head attachments requires dedicated closet space.

Verdict: The Miele Blizzard CX1 Cat & Dog is a strong choice for pet owners who want bagless convenience alongside specialized floorheads for carpet and hard flooring. Its four power settings and included turbo brush make it well suited for households dealing with frequent pet hair.

A great fit if you:

• Have pets and need a dedicated handheld turbo brush to clear hair from upholstery.
• Own a mix of flooring types that require separate carpet and hard floor attachments.
• Want a bagless canister vacuum with four customizable suction levels and a maintenance-free HEPA filter.

Consider something else if you:

• Prefer a lightweight upright vacuum rather than a canister system with separate floorheads.
• Have limited storage space for multiple attachments like floorheads and detail tools.
